In a beautiful overgrown area in Pano Arodes there is a carved temple dedicated to Panagia Chrysospiliotissa. It is an ancient temple dating back to Byzantine to Roman times. Inside, there are few paintings, while in the past its walls were adorned with frescoes. The lit candles indicate that the faithful are still visited by the cave to pray to Our Lady and leave their church. North of the cave there is a modern small chapel dedicated to Panagia Chrysospiliotissa.
